Airport Access from Falcon, Colorado

> Falcon residents have two airport options. Which one you use depends on your destination and how much you value driving time.

Colorado Springs Airport (COS)

Colorado Springs Airport is roughly 20–30 minutes from central Falcon heading southwest on Highway 24 to the Powers Boulevard area. For regional flights and Southwest, American, and United service, COS is convenient and the parking situation is dramatically better than DIA.

Denver International Airport (DIA)

DIA is approximately 90–115 minutes from Falcon in normal traffic, heading north on I-25 from Colorado Springs. This is the larger hub with more direct flight options and international service. Most Falcon residents who fly regularly use DIA when destination options matter and COS for convenience trips.

Rideshare and transportation

Uber and Lyft operate in the area. Rideshare from Falcon to DIA runs $80–$130 depending on demand. Some residents prefer driving and parking at COS for short trips. For DIA, parking or rideshare is a real choice.

Military travel

For military families using Space-A travel from Peterson SFB, the base is a short drive east. This changes the airport calculus entirely for eligible military travelers.
