The primary route

Highway 24 (Falcon Highway) is the spine. Most residents drive west on 24 into Colorado Springs. The trip from central Falcon to downtown Colorado Springs runs 30–45 minutes in normal traffic, and up to 55 minutes in heavy morning traffic toward the city.

Peterson and Schriever access

For military families at Peterson Space Force Base (east of Colorado Springs) or Schriever SFB (even further east near Falcon), the commute is actually shorter than it looks on a map. Schriever is practically next door. Peterson is roughly 15–25 minutes depending on your subdivision.

Heading north toward Denver

Some Falcon residents also work along the I-25 corridor. Budget 75–90 minutes to Denver in normal conditions. This is not a sustainable daily commute unless you're remote most of the week.

Working from home and hybrid schedules

Falcon has attracted a noticeable number of hybrid and remote workers. The infrastructure supports it if your subdivision has fiber or cable service — check this before buying. Some areas still rely on satellite or older cable.
