Portland, Oregon, is known for its quirky charm, vibrant food scene, and breathtaking landscapes. While many tourists flock to iconic spots like Powell's City of Books and the Portland Japanese Garden, there are countless hidden gems waiting to be discovered. The views of downtown Portland and the mountains beyond are simply breathtaking!

Spanning over 30 miles, this trail meanders through lush greenery and ancient trees. If you're lucky, you may spot deer or even a shy coyote. Pack some snacks, bring a friend, and enjoy the tranquility away from the city buzz.
The Pittock Mansion
Most visitors are drawn to the popular museums and galleries, but the Pittock Mansion offers a unique blend of history and stunning views without the usual crowds. This historic home, built in the early 20th century, is perched atop the West Hills, providing panoramic views of the city and Mount Hood. Finally, don’t miss the Alberta Arts District, a vibrant neighborhood bursting with creativity and local flair. While nearby Mississippi Avenue often steals the spotlight, Alberta is a treasure trove of art galleries, independent shops, and some of the best food carts in the city. Be sure to stop by the Alberta Street Gallery for rotating exhibitions from local artists, and grab a bite at one of the many food carts—my personal favorite is the poutine from Potato Champion!
